Wild Geese
One of my favorite quotes is "Don't be afraid to go on the occasional wild goose chase. After all, that's what wild geese are for." by Anon
So I'm sitting here playing Spider Solitaire thinking to myself every curse word imaginable as a prefix to my ex-bosses name. I am suddenly overcome with a tremendous amount of hatred and anger towards her and what she did. I'm normally an easy going kind of person who's feathers are tough to ruffle, but boy has that woman crawled under my skin and died or what? Who the F@#$%&*!? fires someone and kicks them out of their home when they are 7 months pregnant with twins? It's not like she wasn't aware that I was pregnant before she hired me. It was the twins that made her freak. ACKKKK just sitting here writing about it just makes me more and more furious.... this writing was supposed to help defuse my total pissed-off-ness but instead it's adding fuel to the fire.
Ok. So I thought I had found a job where it worked out for both of us. I could get paid to stay home and watch the kids and she could go off to work or out of state for work (as she often does) without worry about her home schooled teenager sitting around watching tv all day or accidentally burning down the house. Win/Win. So WTF happened?
The only good part, as far as I can see, is that I did get to go on a completely wild goose chase at least once in my life. I'm not so sure I'll be so eager to sign up for the next one.
