Moving On Up

Actually, I'm moving on East, but I'll have a good job for the first time in awhile, maybe even ever. I'm gonna be a nanny to a wonderful 13 year old for an old friend of mine from high school. I have a feeling I'm gonna be writing a lot in this blog a lot over the next few months to let everyone know how life is in the great hurricane state of Florida. I've never lived outside of California before so this will be a big move physically as well as emotionally. Currently, I'm typing in this blog instead of doing much needed packing. I've had to sort between stuff to store in Nor Cal and stuff to take with me. At least that's where the sorting piles started. I've also come across two other categories of stuff to sort.... stuff that's worth storing and/or moving and stuff that's just easier to buy new. If I can stick to a 5x8 trailer, it's only $280 (plus other expenses) to move. If I can't, the cost goes up tremendously.
Long story short, lots of changes are going on in my life right now and writing them down helps me sort through them. This means that the months without blogs will end soon.
